What a girl!

Hannah got tired of all the sad news in the world and decided to start a blog with good news on it. Check it out!

The Best Thing

John, Laney and Adelaide came for Halloween. This was the best photo of all. It's so fun seeing my kids with their kids.

Wild and Crazy Summer...July wedding and August reception

Tim and Lindsay originally planned to get married on August 16, but decided they just couldn't wait so they moved it to July 5.

Wild and crazy summer...vacation

We started off in Martin's Cove.

Our only neighbors in the campground were the antelope.

Then we went to South Dakota. We saw Mount Rushmore.

We drove Highway 16A, wandered through Custer State Park and followed the Needles Highway. Beautiful! The man who designed and built the road found the most beautiful vistas and then created the road to get to them. I highly recommend that drive. It was my favorite part of the trip. I lost all idea of time when we started driving Highway 16A.

Mount Rushmore from Highway 16A.

The smallest tunnel on the Needles Highway. It was 8 feet 4 inches wide. We let Hannah drive it, and we were nearly scared to death. Not because of her driving, but because we didn't realize how close the walls would be.

We saw lots and lots of Buffalo...

And prairie dogs...

And rabbits...

And wild donkeys...

And Fred, the goat.

The Badlands

Devil's Tower. We also saw Little Bighorn, but I didn't get photos.

Did I say we saw buffalo?
Those are our tents in the background. This was at Yellowstone.
Maggie kept Sean and Shellece busy looking for "buflo."

The Beehive Geyser went off at the same time as Old Faithful.

 Isn't she beautiful?

Jenny Lake in the Tetons

The Payson Utah Temple!

We also spent time with the kids in Rexburg, saw the Manti Pageant, spent time with family in Utah, and went to the Bright family reunion.

Hannah's a Graduate!

I can't believe my baby has graduated from high school!

Here's the thing I wrote about Hannah to welcome her into Relief Society. We also gave her a copy of the Proclamation to the World on Families, with a matte decorated with photos of Hannah from baby to now.

Hannah is strong and confident, and is comfortable with who she is and where she is going. She has been blessed with many Christ-like qualities.
Hannah has always worked things out with her brothers and kept a loving spirit in our home. She has never teased others and comforts them when they are in need. Several families in the ward call her the “Baby Whisperer” because of her nurturing skills. Hannah is a wonderful blend of Jenson and Bright. She has a gift of friendliness, meaning she can talk to anyone she meets, and in the process share her gifts of kindness, caring and nurturing.
Hannah has developed great leadership skills. She has served in leadership roles in church and school, but it’s the little things that make the difference. She sees a need and reaches out to help. She empathizes with those around her, regardless of age or circumstances.
We have been blessed to have Hannah in our family and love her very much.

She has grown into such a fine young woman, and brings us much joy!

Hannah's Senior Pics

Here's a handful of the beautiful senior photos we got of Hannah. Shawna Youngberg did such a good job...as always! And it helps that Hannah is so photogenic.

These are just a few of our favorites.
